My dance style is a fusion of my classical roots with contortion-inspired flexibility and yoga elements. I began my Bharatanatyam training at the age of five under the tutelage of Guru Rajee Narayan and completed my Arangetram in 2009. Alongside my day job as a Senior Product Designer at MyFitnessPal, I perform extensively across the United States; from Atlanta, Georgia to Sacramento, California, where I am currently based. I am forever grateful to my beloved Guru for moulding me into a hard-working and passionate dancer. While I draw deep inspiration from my Indian heritage, I believe in making my unique act accessible to international audiences by embracing other disciplines, like contortion and yoga.
