Nritya Geeta Mala – Vol. 2 presents 31 songs in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, which include Invocation, Devastuthi, Sabdam, Varnam, Padam, Tillana and others.
Partly funded by the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi, this book was published in 2001. This volume follows the same Padams pattern as the earlier one, but is different in that it includes Varnams and Padams in Hindi, Nayaka Padams exclusively for male dancers, Nindastuti, etc. Guru Rajee used rare ragas like Charukesi, Dharmavati, Navarasakanada and Hindustani ragas like Pilu, Behag and Kalavati.
